Susan and Will's Wedding Cake

Susan and Will celebrated their marriage at the Loft in Concord with family and friends.  The Loft was decorated for a Christmas wedding.  The three tiered oval wedding cake was designed off their wedding invitations.  The topper was made of white roses and holly.  A black rhinestone band accented each tier so during the evening reception the bands shimmered.

Congratulations Susan and Will.  Wishing the best of the best in 2012 and many more years of blessings and love to come.

Tiffany and Michael's Centerpiece

Tiffany had a vision for each of the tables for the reception.  On their table I made a ginger bread house.  Keeping with the red, black and white color scheme, I made a ginger bread house in a winter wonderland with touch of red and black.

Trinity and Michael's Wedding Cake

Tiffany and Michael celebrated their wedding on Christmas Eve at the Loft in downtown Concord.  The Loft was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding for two special people.

During the reception christmas lights were turned on under the cake to shine through the glass blocks.
The cake had black circles and oval all over the three tiers, a black bead border and a dozen red roses circled the cake.

Janna selected this 3 tiered offset square wedding cake to have at their wedding reception.  Each layer was banned with four rows of silver rhinestones.  Then accented from top to bottom with white roses.

Dustin's Apple Pies for the rehearsal dinner

Dustin is not a big fan of cakes so for his rehearsal dinner he preferred apple pies.  Each pie had a cut out of a deer to carry out the rustic theme for the evening. If you look closely you can see how each deer has different markings based on how they baked.

Brittany and Patrick's Wedding Cake

Brittany selected this damask pattern wedding cake.  To the white and black cake she added hot pink and lime green as accents.  Each tier had a different damask pattern.

Each tier was a different flavor.  Starting at the top, key lime cake with cream cheese and lime zest filling, strawberry cake with cream cheese and fresh strawberry filling, and white chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries.

Carrie's Party Favors

Carrie celebrated her wedding with party favors for some of her guest.  The sugar cookies are mini wedding cakes accented with small yellow flowers on all three tiers.  They are individually wrapped for passing out as party favors and topped with a pretty curly ribbon.

Kirby and Alex's Wedding Cake

Kirby and Alex received their wedding guest at Bonterra and treated them to this fall wedding cake.  They selected sweet potato cake with cream cheese filling and chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream filling.  Simple swirls and dots decorated each tier, topped off with fall foliage.

Tisha's Wedding Cake

Tisha selected a fall themed wedding cake for their beautiful wedding at the Magnolia Room.  An orange ribbon went around each layer while a patch work pattern with gold dragees.  Orange roses with baby breath topped the cake. The gold rhinestone single monogram "G" was placed on the 3rd tier.

Jessica and Gabe's Wedding Pies

Jessica and Gabe celebrated their wedding with a non traditional way.  They selected pies to serve their guest.  The reception was full of green apples and with a variety of white flowers.  So we carried their decorating theme on to the pie tree.  Their guest had their choice of apple, cherry, pumpkin and pecan pies.

Angie and Amin's Wedding Cake

Angie and Amin had this stunning wedding cake at their reception.  Pewter bands circled up and down the cake and all around the base of each layer.  Beautiful orange roses were placed around the cake and several roses with greenery and pussy willow branches made the topper for the cake.

Meredith and Phillip's Wedding Cake

Meredith and Phillip celebrated their wedding at the Concord Hotel in downtown Concord following their wedding ceremony.  The beautiful room was the perfect place for their wedding cake.  This stately traditional four tier cake, in four flavors was shared with their family and friends.

Stephanie and Kevin's Wedding Cake

Stephanie and Kevin were married at Deerpond Plantation.  For their wedding reception they shared with their family and friends this three tiered cake.  The cake floated on a round glass plate but underneath the draping cloth were mini lights. Kevins one request were edible dragees on the cake so on the second and third tiers were his brown dragees.  I surprised him by leaving all the extra dragess under this plate at the reception.

Amy and Paul's Wedding Cake

Amy was married at their new home in a lovely setting on a beautiful September day.  She carried the out door theme with this cake. Because the wedding and reception was out side, she selected a "show piece" cake. This four tier cake has different size of cake to make it interesting and and accent all the leaves that climb up the cake.  Amy's uncle cut this log round for the cake stand.

Georgette and Reaford's Wedding Cake

Georgette selected this two tier cake for her and her groom to share.  Swirls and silver dragees with a royal blue band circled around the cakes.  A white bow with silver dragees finished off the wedding cake.  The guests were served sheet cakes with the same design of the wedding cake.

Phillip's Grooms Cake

Meredith surprised Phillip with this grooms cake. He favors the Ryobi tools so Meredith selected the drill.  I placed it on a fondant board that looked like a wood floor.  It was a vanilla pound cake with pineapple flavored butter cream.

Rachel and Jonathan's Wedding

This lovely three tiered wedding cake was for the wedding of Rachel and Jonathan at the Vintage Motor Club in Concord.  Hunter green bands wrapped all three tiers and two dozen calla lilies accented each corner.  To fit in with the Vintage Motor Club a bride and groom riding in their "get away" car was the perfect topper.

Congratulations!  As you "cruise" through life together we know theirs will be curves, bumps and ups and downs but together you will be blessed and find much happiness and joy.

Charlotte and Kyle's Wedding

Charlotte and Kyle were married at the Rocky River Vineyard and their family and friends celebrated with them with cupcakes for dessert. The guest had their choice of strawberry, apple, yellow, lemon or chocolate cake. Charlotte and Kyle love chocolate so they had a marble cake with chocolate butter cream and iced in chocolate butter cream and then covered in chocolate fondant.  Then I decorated the cake in the same colors as the cup cakes.

Congratulations Charlotte and Kyle!  We wish blessing, love, happiness and joy in all your days.

Sarah and Michael's Wedding Cake

Sarah and Michael celebrated their wedding at the Pine Island Country Club and this was their wedding cake to share with family and friends.  There colors were pink, orange, peach and lime green.  A green band circled each tier and then roses in the other three colors accented in each corner.  Patch work and swirls alternated between each layer and then the cake was topped off with a beautiful monogram.

Ashley's Wedding Cake

Ashley selected this 6 tire elegant wedding cake for their wedding.  The cake focal point was the third with tier wrapped in black fondant to look like fabric with a big black bow front and center.  In the middle of the bow was a beautiful broche Ashley found.

Before Cassie and John got married she had this fireman's hat cake made for her "guy."  The cake was served at their rehearsal dinner.  The cake was an almond pound cake.

I hope you made it to your honeymoon ok and all your plans went off just like you wanted even though the hurricane, Irene was making her way up the east coast.

Amanda and Matt's Wedding

Amanda and Matt were married at the beautiful Saratoga Springs.  They decided to share cupcakes with their guest at their reception.  They went with a white daisy and navy center with either a blue or white sprinkles for each cupcake.  The cake their shared sat on the top tier of the cup cake stand.

Bettina and Ben's Wedding Cake

This is the pretty wedding cake Bettina and Ben chose to share at the reception following their wedding. Turquoise and white were their colors so we made turquoise flowers with white dragrees in the center.  A drape flowed off each tier.

Cami and Chris' Wedding Cake

Cami loves the zebra print and incorporated it through out their wedding.  At our consultation she had sketched the wedding cake she wanted.  A few months later she saw how her sketch became a reality at their reception.  She found a cake server with zebra print on the high heel.  Her colors were raspberry pink, white and black.

Tara and Jon's Wedding Cake

Tara and Jon celebrated their wedding with this three tiered wedding cake.  The cake was decorated with pearlized sea shells and a variety of bright colored flowers.  Two gold fish swam in each of the fish bowls on either side of the cake.

Sandy and Kenny's 50th Anniversary

Kenny and Sandy celebrated 50 years of marriage with this gold and white 3 tiered cake.  The white, golden tip roses cascaded down from each tier with gold dragees accenting the quilting pattern on the top and bottom layer. Two gold rings and their names completed the cake.

Alyssa and Danilo's Wedding Cake

The newlyweds celebrated their marriage with this three tiered wedding cake at Bently's on the 27th floor over looking down town Charlotte.  Golden branches climb up the tiers accented with 2 different orchids.  Alyssa had fun by including her colors inside the cake.  She wanted the cream cheese filling to be either purple or lime green so that when the cake was served they would see the color scheme inside the cake... and it would be fun to see everyone reactions.

Alyssa Surprise for Her Husband to Be

Alyssa surprised Danilo with this baby grand piano at their rehearsal dinner. She added confetti in the shape of music notes around the piano.  I added a golden heart in the center to symbolize their love for each other.

Sara and Zack's Wedding Cake

Sara and Zack were married at The Lakes in Kannoplis and the lake and all the beauty were the back drop for their wedding cake.  Gum paste lilies and rhinestone bands make this cake one of a kind for their wedding.

Emma and Brian's Wedding Cake


Emma and Brian received their wedding guests aboard the Championship Yacht on a lovely June evening.  Their elegant cake full of calla lilies and guava roses topped the cake and then cascaded off each tier. When it was time for the cutting of the cake the cake was taken to the top of the yacht to be cut and served to their guests.  The second picture shows the cake under the lights just before it was cut.

Congratulations, Emma and Brian and we wish you joy, blessings and fun as you go through life together.  Thanks for letting us be a part of the your wedding and enjoying an evening as the yacht cruised Lake Norman.

Lisa and Kirk's Wedding Cake

Lisa and Kirk were married at Saratoga Springs and this is the cake they selected for their reception.  The cake topper has a beautiful bride and grooms with words from Shakespeare.  Flowing down from all the tiers are clusters of pool roses and white draping.

Joan's Wedding Cake

Joan selected this cake for their special day.  Malibu roses and fondant bands accented this oval cake.  Fondant garlands tied all the roses together.

Megan's Surprise Grooms Cake

Megan surprised her new husband with this out door scene grooms cake.  She found a topper with the sign, "Just Married."  Pine cones and cotton ball with ferns accented this hand paint wooded cake.  The two tiers sit on top of a log round accented by native greens from Ilbella Gardens.  The stacked logs were gathered for a warm evening around the camp fire.

Michelle selected a wedding cake with alternating round and  hexagon shapes making this cake unique and lovely.  It is accented with hot pink roses and a vibrant hot pink ribbon.

Celebrating the marriage of Kelly and Joe

Kelly and Joe chose a destination wedding but wanted to celebrated with family and friends when they got back home.  They selected these hot pink and teal cup cakes.  The brides cupcakes were decorated with hot pink tail and a glittered hot pink rose.  The grooms cup cakes were teal tails and a monogram. Off to the side they had their own cake to cut for tradition.

Latoya's Wedding Cake

Latoya selected a cake with bling.  She is the first bride to use the new rhinestone bands.  The cake was decorated with the popular patch work and then we added silver dragees on every other tier.  She also wanted each tier to be taller so instead of 4 inches for each layer we added one more layer of cake to make each layer 5 inches.  The made the cake very impressive and elegant.

Ruthie and Brian were married at Brian's family home and the beautiful golf course was the back drop for their wedding.  This simply lovely cake has two rows of pearl beads and beautiful pink peonies.

Erin and Michael were married on a beautiful June day and this was their wedding cake.  The reception was full of shades of pink daisies with accents of white and pearls.  So we combined every color and theme in their wedding cake.  The monogram was placed in the middle of the cake.

This gift box wedding cake was created by Matt and Natalie.  They did a great job of creating their one of a kind wedding cake.  As in every gift box there is a different gift so is their cake.  Each cake has a different flavor.

Cindy and Todd's Wedding

Cindy and Todd's wedding was at a vineyard.  We designed their wedding cake around her color purple, and the wedding being at  a vineyard.  The traditional shell garland along with clusters of grapes accented by green leaves were perfect for their special day.  The guest had a selection of three cake flavors to choose from.

Old Main at Woolford College

Eric's  mom came up with this grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner.  It has special meaning to the couple. Eric and Le Ann love story started her so the black book is titled as such.  I tried to create as much detail as possible so when the bride and groom entered the room for the dinner they would know with out a doubt that this was Old Main.

Rebecca and Wills Wedding Cake

Rebecca and Will celebrated their wedding with this elegant cake.  The top tier was designed from her wedding dress.  The middle tier was covered in a lace pattern and the bottom tier was a more traditional design with the garland and then I added 3 drop pearls at each swag.  If you click on the cake to get a better picture you can see sugar diamonds sprinkle on the top around the monogram.  The sugar diamonds are new on the market and Rebecca was my first bride to have them on her cake.  I did sprinkle more on the other tiers along with edible glitter.
